The half-day tour covers the Colosseum and underground with the third level, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. From here you have a panoramic view of the Hadrian’s Temple of Venus and the spectacular Via dei Fori Imperali. Crossing the road, we enter the Colosseum skipping the line. After the tour of Colosseum, there is the visit to the Arch of Constantine and the Palatine hill - birth place of Rome, and one of the more important hills surrounding the city. During the tour on the Palatine hill we can also visit the dwelling of Romulus from 753 b.c. and the House of Augustus, the first residence of Roman emperors, and the Circus Maximus. From the top of the Palatine hill, you have a stunning view of the Roman Forum, and the seven hills of Rome and the “Via Sacra” (Sacred Way) of the Roman Forum, where Julius Caesar was buried. From the forum the tour continues to the Augustus Forum, Trajan Forum and the great masterpiece of Roman classical art, the Trajan Column.
